Objectives:To analyze the changes of serum uric acid level in children with primary nephrotic syndrome and its influencing factors, and to provide basis for dietary guidance of children with primary nephrotic syndrome. Methods:A total of 111 children with primary nephrotic syndrome were selected as the study subjects. At the same time,139 healthy subjects or children who were waiting for surgery due to cryptorchidism, hydrocele and inguinal hernia were selected as control group.Age and sex between the two groups were parallel(P> 0.05).The clinical data of children with primary nephrotic syndrome were analyzed retrospectively. The levels of serum uric acid in children with primary nephrotic syndrome were to analyze. The levels of serum uric acid in children with different types of nephrotic syndrome were to analyze. The relationships between serum uric acid level and other serum biochemical indexes in children with nephrotic syndrome were to analyze. Results:The level of serum uric acid in the children with primary nephrotic syndrome was(290.19 ± 97.19)mmol / L,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(223.77 ± 61.70 mmol / L),the difference was statistically significant(t=6.261,P<0.01).The levels of serum uric acid in the patients with simple nephrotic syndrome and nephritic nephrotic syndrome were(281.20 ± 93.30)mmol / L and(314.03 ± 99.03)mmol/ L,respectively. There was no significantly statistical difference between the two groups(T = 1.506,P> 0.05).Serum uric acid levels in the patients with hormone-sensitive nephrotic syndrome and hormone-resistant nephrotic syndrome were(289.16 ± 96.05)mmol / L、(297.26 ± 108.34)mmol / L,respectively. The difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(t =-0.296,P> 0.05).Pearson single factor correlation analysis showed that in children with primary nephrotic syndrome, serum uric acid level was positively correlated with serum urea nitrogen and creatinine(r =0.491,0.396,P <0.01),and serum magnesium, serum(r = 0.293,0.188,0.192,P <0.05),but negatively correlated with serum calcium, serum sodium and albumin(r =-0.286、-0.345、-0.208,P<0.05).And there was no correlation between serum uric acid and serum triglyceride,as well as serum glucose level(r = 0.014,0.091,P> 0.05).Conclusion:Serum uric acid level in children with primary nephrotic syndrome in its active stage was significantly elevated. There was no significant difference between different types.Abnormal uric acid metabolism in children with primary nephrotic syndrome may be related to renal function status, lipid and electrolyte metabolic disorders.Low purine intake should be included in the dietary guidance of children with primary nephrotic syndrome.
