Objective:To review the surgical repair of ruptured aneurysm of sinus of Valsalva(SoV)in 42 patients retrospectively and explore the efficacy of the surgical treatment.Methods:From May 2006 to August 2016,42 patients with SoV aneurysm received surgical treatments which were performed in conventional hypothermic cardiopulmonary bypass and concomitant procedures included VSD repair,ASD repair,AVR,AVP,TVR,TVP and so on.Result:Among 42 cases,there was 1 early death with a mortality rate of 2.3%and 41 patients were cured.There are still three patients with mild aortic insufficiency,four patients with mild tricuspid regurgitation after surgery.All patients were followed-up from 1 month to 7 years and the result showed significant improvement in cardiac function,which of the survivors recovered to New York Heart Association(NYHA)class ?-?.Conclusion:Once diagnosed with ruptured aneurysm of sinus of valsalva,surgical repair should be performed as early as possible.The surgical treatment of ruptured aneurysm of sinus of valsalva is effective.
