Based on traditional Chinese medicine theory and thought,the research project discussed contexts of qi thought and mediciners' body viewpoint in bamboosilk medical books in pre-Qin and Han dynasty,by philosophy,philology,history and sociology.And analyzed mediciners' body viewpoint in early era in the fundamental of their qi thoughts,in order to clear up relationship between qi thoughts and body viewpoints,and to expound its cultural connotation of Chinese medicine and philosophy.ObjectiveQi thoughts and body viewpoints in bamboosilk medical books in pre-Qin and Han dynasty provide basic elements and thought ways for body viewpoint study in TCM,and it also represents the original of relationship between qi and body.This relationship in TCM is built based on ancient Chinese philosophy.The research project intends to clarify major contexts,basic traits and thought ways of qi thought and body viewpoint in bamboosilk medical books,and summarized its connotation of Chinese philosophy and medicine sequentially.Methods1.Method across multiplicate subjects:The research of qi thought and body viewpoint is a research which crosses multiplicate subjects,mainly involving the method from TCM,philosophy,philology,and history,including theory method of TCM and philosophy and collation and annotation of philology and history.2.Method of philology:Settle and collate gathered documents in bamboosilk medical books,and compile documents involving "qi",and then classify these documents into five sorts,as to symptom,qi of body,qi of nature,exogeny and pathogeny,and treatments.3.Analysis and concluding:Collating documents of body viewpoint in bamboosilk medical books,analyze contexts about qi relatively,and summarized the relationship between qi and body,and generally conclude five viewpoints,including qi and meridian,breath and respire,guiding qigong,coition medicine,and life and death.Results1.As a fundamental and critical conception in traditional Chinese culture,philosophy and medicine theory,qi also acts as a core role in body viewpoint.Nature,especially heaven and earth,is in accordance with body life and social ethics in ancient Chinese philosophy.And this nature based cosmic viewpoint conduced mediciners to put heaven,earth and human together,and formed body viewpoint as "qi-yin-yang and five elements-body"2.From bamboosilk medical books,mediciners' cognition of body majors in body structure,illness treatments,and recuperation.As theory goes deeply,mediciners put qi into body viewpoint,and become its core conception gradually.Assimilating cognition of qi in philosophy of the hundred schools of thought,from nature to society,mediciners emphasize practicability,and also deepen theory,embodying unique thought of ancient Chinese medicine.3.Mediciners import the Taoism thought "the corresponding of heaven and man"into Chinese medicine theory,and contact "secure qi" and "cherish life".They also form"universe-qi-body" inference model by analogy,and contact people and heaven by qi.Besides,it contains classified thought of yin-yang and five elements,and the grand principle "harmony of yin-yang" in the thought.
