Normally we would think that the life is made of two parts, one can be called part of the physiological or physical, the other part is called a spiritual or psychological part; For the former can be taken precise object research by objective scientific means; For the latter, however, our means is extremely limited, even though we are also able to observe on people's mental activity by means of science, but analysis of the results obtained are far from satisfactory because we get a psychological phenomenon caused by physiological phenomena, psychological or said mind, we can not direct knowledge of heart.Death as the dark abyss brings both fear and imagination and narrative of transcending this fear.Back to the life and death issue, because we know very little of the mind, so we will be confused of life and death, especially death, because we can not confirm in which sense the death is occurring, we can ascertain the physiological phenomenon on death, but on a soul level, we can only be silence. Therefore, all religions and philosophy of life are all the first meaning to settle the person's life and death, and discourse of the human mind as the theoretical core, to rule the people for the death of confusion and even fear arising from ignorance. In this sense, we can also call mind the soul, while in the Chinese tradition we call it HunPo, and I personally think that the soul is the concept of a collection of the ancient people's thinking of body and spirit, yin and yang, heaven and earth, spirits, movement, life and death, etc,and eventually became the so-called by QianMu "Outlook on life without soul",neither superstition, nor indulge in unbridled desire, this concept is born at the cradle of the Yin, was established in the Zhou Dynasty, and flourished in the Han Dynasty, which ultimately form the background knowledge of the ancient people's thinking of the most basic of life and death.
