Confucianism In The Western Han Dynasty And Its Enlightenment

To be concerned with the issues of dissemination of the Confucian traditional culture and the problem of modernity, I want to rebuild the Confucian culture and community in my paper to deal with the problems above in china with the consciousness of responsibility.I want to try to solve these problems by looking back upon the ancient Confucian concept of the world in the past, especially in early Han dynasty, which was in a transition of the concept of the world by worship with the heaven. Tung Chung-shu was a great achievement of Confucian philosophy in that time and developed the religion of Tian and made it more systematic. With the logical way of Tian to the son of the heaven and to the world, we can find out two precious and significant values of the culture and community, which can show the essence of the Confucianism and political order. The first approach about Tian to the son of the heaven is to explain the value basis of the world and its reality value. And the second approach about the son of the heaven to the world is to show the characteristic of the community which the Confucian had proposed. I will use the transition stage of development from feudal to prefectures or counties and the history of the relationship about the Han and other cultures in early Han dynasty to try to face the problems of the modernity, especially about the concept of nation.
