Now Luxian Song tombs are the most complete remains of the Southern Song Dynasty tomb groups.They are constructed by stone at the late Southern Song Dynasty around.Most of the owners are Luxian local lower gentry.The value of cultural study on their rich carving materials was extremely high.At present,some experts and scholars from many areas have done some research about them.From the point of view of my own professional,I will try to stand in the common view of history and art to do some research about the Luxian Song tombs' carving art.The first chapter simply introduces the geographic environment, historical background and the carving materials of the Luxian Song tombs.The second chapter carries on the analysis to the birth of the reasons of the Luxian Song tombs carving art from five aspects.The third chapter selects four distinctive points what are the door opening images, secularity, the Orient and the modeling of soldiers, the contrast with Anbing Family tombs to discuss the contents and characteristics of the Luxian Song tombs carving art.They are the focus and innovation of this article.From the aspect of the Cailian dance,drama and "regard death as alive" concept,the fourth chapter discusses the factor about the Sichuan social life,customs and habits in the Southern Song Dynasty of the Luxian Song tombs carving art.
