The Research On The Song Dynasty Tombs In Southeast Region

In recent years, in Southeast in China, people found rich burial Song Remains.Their unique Tomb structures, and beautiful funeral objects reflect the social life of people in the region in Song dynasty in different ways. So to research the Song dynasty tombs o south-eastern China is of great significance. According to the shape of tombs, Song dynasty tombs in the South East region can be divided into three:Single room, two rooms and many rooms. to be based on existing archaeological data and historical documents, and to learn from previous research results, I will divide the Song tombs of South East region into three periods.The first period is from 960 to 1063 A.D. The second period is from 1063 to 1126 A.D. The third period is from 1127 to 1276 A.D. It will be based on the burial shapes and the changes in the contents of the burial objects. Through this process, we can find out the development context of the region's Song tombs, namely, the single room tombs become more and more, two rooms and many rooms become fewer and fewer,the funeral objects become more and more,more and more beautiful.On the basis of discussion above, first of all, the writer introduce the decoration of the Song dynasty tombs in the South East region. Then, the writer will do compare the Song tombs in the region with those in the Central Plains in the same period, thus summed up the region's unique geographical characteristics of the Song tombs. What is more, the writer also introduced the southeast region cremations, including their structures and causes why them formed.In an objective perspective, the writer will analyze the social life of the area at that time through burial, which includes religion, life pursuit and so on.At last, the writer will introduce the funerary objects unearthed Song tombs of the south-east and the tomb decoration. In the conclusion part, I will expound briefly the historical and cultural roots of Song tombs in the south-east.
