Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750, was one of the greatest composers of all time. His compositions are monuments of his art, unsurpassed masterworks in counterpoint, polyphony, and harmony. In addition to being a virtuoso at the keyboard, Bach was also a master on the violin. The 6 sonatas( more accurately, 3 partitas and 3 sonotas) for solo violin were written ca.1720, and hold a prominent place among Bach's music. The celebrated Chaconne is taken from Sonata No.4 in D Minor( Partita No.2). The Chaconne has been performed on the violin, guitar, and lute. This transcription for piano is translated by Busoni in 1893.The writing of this article is to record the author's practice experience, which can help other performers.
