The Study Of The Creation Of Shostakovich's "Violin Sonata"

The essay choosed Shostakovich's work?Violin Sonata?op.134 as the research object which composed in 1968.It has obvious differences with his early and medium stage' style,and it has his later period musical languages' characteristics.I analyzed the work with it's political ? cultural and social background if the essay need;At the same time,I will associate with Shostakovich's other works,and research what the common techniques,so I can research the work across-the-board.The essay has four chapters.The first chapter introduced Shostakovich's composing under 20 century as well as ?Violin Sonata?op.134's background,because musical history and social background are closely linked with the composer.Through describing his composition time,we can know ?Violin Sonata?op.134's individual and times backgrounds.The second chaper to the fourth chapter analysized Shostakovich's specific musical languages,including “the Twelve-tone” ?“DSCH”motive?Passacaglia and so on. Shostakovich used contemporary skills and his own musical languages,making the work “modern”and “traditional”. The second chaper applied Fort's PC skills to analyze “DSCH” and it's effects. “DSCH” used the chromaticism to embody atonity.“the Twelve-tone”is based on Schoenberg, Shostakovich modify somewhere.The techniques showed “the Twelve-tone”s features and Shostakovich's skills.The last chaper Passacaglia mends 20 Centuary composition skills and Shostakovich's styles,so three chapers can contact with each other. Apart from Shostakovich's creating skills,there are other skills like Schonberg “the Twelve-tone” ? Scrabin“mysterios chords” to compare with the work. And I can get the conclusion totally.Through the four chapters' analysis,I summarized musical languages andinnovations of Shostakovich' ? Violin Sonata ? op.134 at the thesis ending.It concludes conventional factors and modern skills.This work represented Shostakovich late period style to some extent.The essay researched skills so it can conclude his late period' style.
