Since the reform and opening up, China's politics and economy has been developing very rapidly.With the speeding up of urbanization, on the one hand people are enjoying the convenience and variety of city life, on the other hand they are also under the hustle and fickleness of city life. This kind of environment change resulted in people's change of aesthetic tendency. A group of sharp-eyed artists who are with innovation spirits have begun to pay attention to this problem. Therefore, the contemporary ink figure painters also pay their attention to the present situation and mental outlook of people living in modern society. They found that in order to adapt to the changed new era, the contemporary ink figure painters need to expand their horizon and improve their accomplishment of art. And they also need to explore new forms of language on the basis of national culture. The theme of this paper is to research a new form of contemporary ink figure paintings. I will make a thorough analysis of the new form of contemporary ink figure painting and its impact factors. The analysis contains the ink, the sculpture, the composition, the color, the material these five aspects. Analyzing the influence and effect of the composition of new form of it during the creation rationally will help us to understand the development direction of contemporary ink figure painting.The main body of this paper is divided into three parts:The first chapter mainly discusses the general situation of the development of ink figure painting forms, including the features and evolution of the form of the traditional ink figure painting and the features and development process of the form of the modern ink figure painting.The second chapter is the main part of this paper. It is also divided into three sections to discusses the new form of contemporary ink figure painting. Section 1 is to analyze the factors that affect the new form of contemporary ink figure painting at the background of modern society. These factors are known as the western modern art, the folk art, the modern new media and cartoon which exist in the new environment of society. Section 2 is to specifically discuss the presentation of the new form of contemporary ink figure painting from the ink, the composition, the color and the material. Combining with several representative contemporary artists and their works,this section will also discuss their innovation of the new form of the contemporary ink figure painting. Section 3 is mainly to elaborate the aesthetic value tendency which exists in the new form of contemporary ink figure painting. The study of spiritual direction and culture ideal have a positive guiding significance for the development of the contemporary Chinese ink figure painting in the future.The third chapter mainly elaborate the creation practice of the contemporary ink figure painting and the thought and use of new form language in ink figure paintings. By studying the new form of contemporary ink figure painting, it will help me to make a whole objective understanding of thedevelopment tendency of contemporary ink figure painting forms. And it will also help me find a new form of ink which fits me the best and combines the nationality with the development of age.In general, this paper's breakthrough point is the study of the new form of contemporary ink figure painting. From the study of the process, the evolution and the innovation, we will have an understanding of the living condition of contemporary ink figure painting in the environment of new culture, and then master the development tendency of contemporary ink figure painting in the future.
