Analyze The Method Of Observing And Grasping The Proportion Of Volume In The Creation Of Figurative Sculpture

In sculpture creation,the body,space and volume are the key issues relating to the language of the body,wherein the body and space is often referred sculptor and discussion,but not much volume seems to be concerned about.My personal graduation works selected sheep as an inspiration,practice gradually find the volume ratio of treatment has become the bottleneck of their own creation,then led me to question the amount of body "re-understanding." In this paper,for the volume ratio of observation and grasp the method of analysis,to explore the observation process has a problem,the problem of the discovery process,and specific obstacles to observation;have a basic understanding,the article also outlines the practice in sculpture processing volume ratio of three methods,and exemplified the sculptor's works to illustrate each method brings artistic effect,can be seen,the ratio of volume of the subjective process of work style and temperament have a profound influence,worth sculptor thinking.Hope this summary of the ratio of the amount of body problems can form complementary relationship with and take care of other important concepts of sculpture,provides a cognitive perspective sculptural language.
