Bella Kovacs And His "Honor To The Master" Clarinet Clarinet Collection

Bella Kovac is an excellent contemporary Hungarian composer, clarinetist and educator,imitating the playing style of nine world–famous composers and creating a music collection without accompaniment which is composed of nine pieces of clarinet works.The author briefly introduces the nine composers’ times,status, music creation techniques as well as their style presented in each piece of work by introducing the composers and the collection.The author also presents the playing techniques of clarinet and expounds the author’s own perception to and reflection on the playing of clarinet.Owing to the rich content of the collection and the author’s not majoring in music theory,this thesis just set some examples to make a brief statement in chapter two and chapter three about the selected outstanding styles and playing techniques of these composers,aimed at providing a reference for clarinet players before they start to play.
