Research On The Characteristics And Inheritance Of Lechang Huagu Opera

Lechang Huagu Opera, commonly known as "sing Huagu" or "tune opera",is popular in upper middle reaches of Wushui river in lingnan and in some countries in northern Guangdong.Thisarticle features singing characteristics as the main content of the study, trying to analyze singing characteristics of Lechang Huagu Opera from its singing,language and singing techniques.And it isaimed at mining the local characteristics of Lechang Huagu Opera through this study, and also providing help for the inheritance and development of Lechang Huagu Opera.This article uses the literature analysis method, the observation method,the interview method,the practice method and so on.Through visiting Lechang cultural centers,cultural station of Lechang San Xi river Town,Troupe of sanxi river Lechang Huagu Opera and doing exchange studies with heritage,directors or actors of Huagu Opera,it provides a theoretical and practical basis for the study of performance characteristicsof Lechang Huagu Opera.The first chapter reviews the development history of Lechang Huagu Opera.The second chapter, firstly introduced Lechang Huagu singing combined with traditional opera play “the bird”.Secondly explores the flat stone mandarin and the characteristics of the relationship between the music as well as systemize the aria characteristics. Finally, combined with the personal experience of learning Lechang HuaGu Opera, it analyzes and systemizes singing techniques of Lechang HuaGu Opera in aspects like vocal technique, articulation cavity techniques and so on.The singing features of Lechang Huagu Opera are summarized.The third chapter taking the view of LeChang HuaGu Opera as non-material cultural heritage thinks aboutthe current situation of its inheritance and development and put forward some suggestions and opinions.
