Research On The Adaptation Of Online Novels In The Context Of Popular Culture

Since the 21 st century,the network novel adapted for film and television play has become a very popular cultural phenomenon.2015 is known as the network novel drama golden years.Obviously,the mass culture of this new product,has rapidly occupied the most of the field of cultural production and consumption center,has become a popular social and cultural phenomenon cannot be ignored.But so far,about the issue of network novel dramas’ artistic characteristics and social value,has not caused wide attention of academia and actively explore.In view of this,this article attempts to stand in the context of the popular culture context,studying the network novel adaptation deeply and systematically.This article is divided into six parts,including abstract,introduction,summary,characteristics of adaptation,adaptation problems and the vision of the future and epilogue.The introduction part introduces the network novel adaptation of the research background and significance,status of the domestic research,the innovation of this article,and the basic theory and method.In the first chapter,this paper mainly introduces the network novel adaptation’s zigzag development.The development process is divided into three phases,respectively including initial period,developing period and hot period.Then,this article analyzes the current rise of the cultural phenomenon.In this paper,the reasons from three aspects are discussed,including the development of the Internet and its popularity,the coming of the image era and the impact of the popular culture life,and The Analysis of modern people’s entertaining consumer personalities.The second chapter is to explore the network novel drama feature,which is the innovation in this paper with the new key.This chapter mainly include three aspects,which are network novel adaptation,creation subject and accepting subject.Especially in the analysis of the causes of script typed tendency,this article analyses the cultural phenomenon systematically and rationally,which is standing a new perspective of popular culture,combined with the characteristics of its own modeling and commercialization.And this is also the innovation of this paper.Discussing the aspects of creation subject,this article is comparing with the traditional classic subjects which were in the last century 80 ’s.From the two aspects,including the creation subject aims and practices,this paper reveals creation subjects’ of the network novel adaptations’ popularly cultural characteristics.To the accpetion subjects’ point,combinating with Stuart Hall’s three positions of culture theories,this paper analizing “The Legend of Zhen Huan” and “Language paradigm of He”,interpretating the fans’ culture,and introducing the background of the bullet screen mode,studies the current network novel adaptations’ acception subjiects’ excitementdeeply.The third chapter briefly analyzes the problems of the network novel adaptation and advices the improvement measures about it.
