Analysis And Suggestions On The Topics Of MTCSOL Dissertation In Five Universities In Liaoning Province

Influenced by ‘Chinese Popular',the demand for Chinese teachers of the world is increasing year by year.The opening of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages is in order to cultivate more persons of international promotion of Chinese with high quality and comprehensive abilities.With the continuous growth of students admitted to the major,there are a growing number of dissertations.The quality of dissertations is important.However,the levels of dissertations of different universities are uneven.In this study,the topic selection of MTCSOL dissertations of 5 universities in Liaoning Province are analyzed by document analysis method and statistical analysis method.This paper summarizes the characteristics of the topic selection,analyzes the reasons and gives some suggestions for the existing problems.I hope to provide the corresponding reference for the dissertations of MTCSOL.This paper contains five parts:The first part of this paper is the introduction.This part is about the research background,purpose,significance,methods and contents.The first chapter is literature review.A large number of relevant thesis and researches on the network platform provide abundant theoretical basis for the writing.The second chapter analyzes the topic selection of Chinese students and foreign students' MTCSOL dissertations of 5 universities in Liaoning Province from four aspects:the form of the topics,coutry-specific,the research contents and special problems.The data is compiled and the chart is made.Then three characteristics are summarized as follow:unbalanced forms of the topics with academic tendancy,involving many countries and too concentrated research contents.The third chapter,accoding to the train objective of MTCSOL,the demands of MTCSOL dissertations,the principles and the problems which are analyzed(unbalanced forms of the topics with academic tendancy and too concentrated research contents),seven countermeasures about the problems of the topic selection are provided for improving the quality of topic selection:defining thecharacteristics of MTCSOL dissertations,reconciling forms of the paper,encouraging students to broaden the scope of research,making the topics specific,making more efforts on the topic of innovation,grasping ‘far'and ‘near' well and focusing on hot issues initiatively.The last part summarizes the problems and countermeasures,pointing out the innovation points and deficiencies.
