Guizhou Dai Dog Farm Dai Music Research

This paper analyses the music of Gelao in Da Gouchang village of Guizhou province based on the information searching, fieldwork, interviewing, inter-discipline researching methods. In this paper there are more than 55 thousand words, and was divided into four part.First of all, a statement of the purpose and the significance of this research was given in the introduction part, the research status of the music of Gelao in Da Gouchang village of Guizhou province was mentioned,and a summary on researching achievement of this kind of music was made in the introduction part.The first part describes the nature and human environment that the Gelao music in Da Gouchang village relies on.The second chapter classifies types of music that includes folk songs, sacred songs and musical instruments by their application, and makes a list to elaborate. And analyzes and illustrates its present situation, includes its custom and status of protection.The third chapter analyzes the expression and musical pattern of the Gelao music in Da Gouchang village by using related principle and theory. And analyzes different characteristics of art forms in detail, which includes representation,occasion,function,feature of melody, feature of structure, feature of tonality& mode,feature of rhythm &meter, feature of aria, feature of grace,and feature of lining words' using.The fourth part tries to find the problems confronting this music,and to analyze and think the best solution to protect it.At last,conclusion part summarizes the information given above.In this paper,innovation points has been pointed out: First, analyzes the Gelao music morphology in Da Gouchang village music by using relevant musicology theory,and reorganizes these music into notation. Second, records lyrics of the Gelao music in Da Gouchang village by recording its sound as Chinese word that have same pronunciation, and organizes these lyrics into notation. This method in research of Gelao music is new. Third, putting forward the solution to protect the music,language and other culture of Gelao in Da Gouchang.
