"Historical Records" Mainly Studies The Image Of Anti-Qin Characters

As a classic literature, Records of the Grand History had a noble status in historical and literary history. As a literary text to explore, Records of the Grand History was so great. Exploring one of the reasons, it was caused by Sima Qian who created the first biography literature pattern with his forethought, and in this form he created a lot of vivid characters. The characters he created, especially the characters living in the history of Qin and Han dynasties, such as Chen She, Xiang Yu and Liu Bang, were spread through the ages and developed into various kinds of literature, film and television works, became the classic images of the literary history.Anti Qin characters at the end of the Qin dynasty were the focus of the image-shaping in Records of the Grand History. In so many anti Qin characters, Sima Qian elaborately depicted character images centered on Chen She, Xiang Yu and Liu Bang, and illustrated his thought to Qin and Han dynasties historical upheaval through the three main anti Qin characters. In addition, due to the amazing historical changes of the Qin and Han dynasties and anti Qin characters, when Sima Qian wrote the three biographies, he always adhered the position of against tyranny and the Confucian spirit of righteousness as the rating of merits and demerits of anti Qin characters. He wrote legend for the heroes filled with amazing heart and love, reached the height of integration of the Confucianism and the spirit of love.This thesis started with analyzing images of anti Qin characters in Records of the Grand History, interpreted of the image features and achievements of main anti Qin characters under the background of the Qin and Han dynasties historical changes, researched the scene technique of Sima Qian, experienced the spirit of love and Confucianism of Sima Qian. The paper contained six parts, and the main contents were as follows:The introduction briefly discussed the reasons for choosing this topic, made a brief summary of the relevant research results on the characters of Records of the Grand History since ancient times, and clarified the significance of the topic and the purpose of the study.The first chapter focused on the Qin's brief history, revealed the era background of the peasant uprising, defined the statuses and roles of anti Qin characters according to Sima Qian's three-step positioning, and made a brief explanation of the spirits of love and his admiration to Confucianism.The second chapter focused on analyzing Chen She's image, selected two typical scenes on the rand and Daze Heung to explore the reasons and significance of Chen She uprising contrasting with Tang-wu revolution.The third chapter focused on analyzing Xiang Yu's image, selected the battle of Julu to interpret that Sima Qian how to depict hero image of the powerful anti Qin hero, and analyzed Sima Qian's spirits of love through Xiang Yu's poetic feelings as a tragic hero.The fourth chapter focused on analyzing Liu Bang's image, made comparison with Chen She, Xiang Yu, the First Emperor of Qin and Emperor Wu of Han in their success or failure to fully display the correct evaluation of Sima Qian to Liu Bang.The conclusion summarized Sima Qian'thought on the history of the Qin and Han Dynasties, and explained that Sima Qian was reasonable and advanced in historical judgment by the integration of Confucianism and spirit of love.
