Self-control is the core part of self-consciousness,refers to the one's abilities of regulating emotion,controlling behavior and distracting or concentrating attention to meet the social expectation.The ability of self-control has a dominate influence on the development of children's peer relationship,parent-child relationship,social relationship and also healthy personality.Studyl:The formation of primary school students self-control questionnaire.After reading a amount of statistical data and literature,the study adapted the method of open-ended questionnaire survey and interview to draw up the first draft of the students self-control questionnaire for the primary schools' teachers.After the text analysis and experts assessment,427 children were covered by this questionnaire to examine the exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis,examine the questionnaire's reliability and validity.Study 2:The developmental characteristics of primary school students' self-control.The questionnaire was adopted to investigate the trends of the primary school students.We divided the students into three groups:group 1(grade one and two),group2(grade three and four)and group 3(grade five and six).The level of primary school students' self-control become higher with age.The five factors of self-control show different through groups.All groups show rapid development.The level of the girls' self-control is much higher than the boy.Study3:The relationship of the primary school students' self-control and academic achievement.This study explored the relationship of the ability of self-control and academic achievement.The results follow that the ability of self-regulation could mediate the academic achievement.
