Zizek is one of the representatives of Western Marxism, his long-term commitment to communicate Lacanian psychoanalytic theory and Marxist philosophy, the psychoanalysis, subjectivity, ideology and popular culture melting in a furnace to form a very unique academic thought and political positions.
