In the long history of the development of Buddhism,many monks wrote a lot of poetry,these poems monks involved in all aspects of life.However, because these monks do not belong to the mainstream of literary groups, so their poems have been ignored for long time.In all kinds of poetry, I chose tea poetry monks as the object of study.This is because the monks fond of tea,tea and monks living close, there has been a lot of poetry about tea in monk's poetry, but these poems study of a small number of scholars, research degree is not deep enough.The author repeatedly refer to the Full Tang,Full Song,Zen book and other books,these poems about tea monks were collecting finish,finishing out of the Tang and Song poetry of monks tea more than 500.This more than 500 poetry tea as the research object,on the one hand, from the overall situation can understand the tea of Tang and Song monks,on the other hand,by comparison the Tang and Song dynasties tea poems of monks, hope to see the difference between Tang and Song.For this topic, the author discusses from four aspects.The first chapter analyzes the number of tea poetry of the Tang and Song, as well as these monks'birthplace and main activity ground.Through comparative analysis,we can see the monks who wrote tea poem in Tang Dynasty is less than the Song Dynasty,tea poetry creation also less than the number of the Song Dynasty.From these we can see that the Tang Dynasty tea culture not popular than Song Dynasty. Almost these monks are in the South, which also can be seen south of the tea culture is more prevalent than in the north.The second chapter,tea Poetry of monks in Tang and Song were classified from content.In broad terms reflect the tea things into the activities of tea poetry, emotional sustenance tea poetry, writing poetry Detective tea.Through these categories, people can more clearly understand the contents of monks tea poetry.
