Cicada,as a literature figure,came into the people's vision very early.After a long development process,cicada became one of the most popular figure.Into the Song Dynasty,the poet frequently use cicada figure,giving its more rich cultural connotation and emotional implication.Academic circles have attached great importance to the study of cicadas while seldom discuss the content of the Song Dynasty.This thesis with the Song Dynasty cicada poetry as the object of the research,try to find the thread of the Song Dynasty cicada poetry and the poetry character of different times.Apart from the introduction and conclusion,this thesis is divided into three chapters.The first chapter discusses the cicada imagery's from and development period.Firstly,the cicada imagery originates from the description of Shijing that create the Bi Xing tradition to express emotions.Secondly,to explore cicada's implication of literary and cultural significance on the foundation of its natural attributes.The second chapter analyzes the type of emotional expression of the cicada imagery in the Song Dynasty.Firstly,summing up the emotional tendencies combined with the poetry's features.Secondly,there are four aspect of emotional type in the cicada imagery of Song Poetry.It includes the feeling of autumn's grief,the sentiment of separation,the difficult on the poet's life and their happiness in spare time.The third chapter is taking about the cicada poetry on Song Dynasty,aims to analyze the development characteristics and the art features.Because of the impact of the times,it's centralized on the creation time and the creation body.This thesis tries to analyze the poem's feature form three aspects: the deep sustenance in the poem,the art technique of personification and using allusions,and the language characteristic of attaching importance to every word.
