The Study Of The Image Of "Yi Yi" And "Yi Servant" In The Vernacular Novels Of The Qing Dynasty

The image researches of vernacular novels in the Qing Dynasty are most focused on the main characters as usual,of which the righteous maidservant and righteous servant groups have a less concern.The vernacular novels in the Qing Dynasty are mostly based on the social,so their depictions about the persons with low social status must reflect the social reality at that time,and the images of righteous maidservant and righteous servant are not a little special.Not only did they reflect the cruel social reality at that time,but also they could show a kind of chivalrous spirit.In addition,they also showed the characters' feelings and aspirations usually,in the spirit world,the class and exploitation consciousness is able to weaken,but it just may stands out the humanization fully.This thesis regards the images of the righteous maidservant and righteous servant in 17 vernacular novels in the Qing Dynasty as an investigation object,that makes comprehensive analysis.I will try to summarize and classify these images in the first part,so that I can highlight their different fates with a more detailed way,that inclouding the different types of presenting a "righteousness" as servants,mainly divides into more of die,leave,give priority to revenge,juvenile helped solitary four classes.The second part,I'll analyze the reasons that they arise from the personal and social aspects.The personal reasons include the relationship between master and servant,and family background mainly,the social reasons include the system of social master and servant,and promote the two part of the social public opinion mainly.The third part,I will probe into the different ideas from the servility and the conflict of humanity,dehua rendering,the continuation of "loyalty" point of view,through to the group illustrates the cultural significance,probe into its behind the various thoughts.At lsat I will analyze the literary value of the righteous maidservant image,mainly from the popularity,the lofty tragic,legend and practical aspects,and strive to explore the meaning of the text image embodies.
