| The late Ming Dynasty was the era of political corruption and ideological change,and also the era of cultural and artistic development.With the prosperity of the painting creation practice,the painting theory was also very rich and mature.Li Rihua as one of the three"great natural gentlemen",who enjoyed equal popularity with Dong Qichang and Wang Weijian,was a master of painting and calligraphy in the late Ming Dynasty.His aesthetic ideas embodied in the creation and appreciation of paintings are worth studying.In this text,it will be based on many of his works on the content of the text,through the collation,analysis,induction,elaborate his painting aesthetic thought from the epistemology,the theory of creationand appreciation of the three aspects.This text is divided into four chapters besides the introduction and conclusion.The introduction introduces the research status,research value and research methods.The conclusion makes a summary of Li Rihua’s painting ideology.It also points out the characteristics of the evaluation of the painter’s works on the basis of the artistic value and historical position of his works.The first chapter introduces the background of the times and Li Rihua’s life and friendship,in order to lay a good foundation for the analysis and summary of his painting ideas.The second chapter,epistemology.Review Li Rihua’s cognition of the basic problems of painting,namely,a discussion of "Aroma" and "law" and "Virtue" and "art".Aiming at the drawbacks of the late Ming Dynasty painting that extremely seeking "artistic conception" makes the painting empty and shallow,he proposed to attach importance to "true skill " works,learn from the ancients and nature,seek "artistic conception" on the basis of mastering the skills of professional painting,to achieve the harmony and unity of "Aroma"and "law".Through the discussion of the "Virtue" and "art",the painting character decides on the moral standing.He said the moral standing contains three aspects:moral,culture,manners and talent,which trains in reading,exploring the landscape.The third chapter,the theory of creation.Li Rihua pointed out that the creation of the painter should have a "virtual static" mentality,which is static in peacetime,in the attitude of life and personality cultivation,rather than just a moment of silence in painting.Secondly,attention should be paid to the painting composition layout,choosing "good",winning " the election",to achieve mutualism of blankness and being and nothingness.Finally,regard to achieve the simple cold painting artistic conception as the highest pursuit.The fourth chapter,appreciation theory.Li Rihua proposed the painting should have the aesthetic goal of "lovemaking" and not violate the "true skill" requirements.He put forward the "four levels":appearance,tendency,aroma and nature,which can be used to measure the level of artistic works. |
