A Report On The Practice Of Alternating Interpretation In The Story Of The Elderly In The Story Of The Storytelling

In the course of interpreting,the speech of speaker is a very important factor for accomplishing the task.Meanwhile the Chinese sentences in a chronic style are necessary for interpreting.The interpreter has the responsibility to express the meaning of speech to people.So the interpreter should have flexible and adaptable ability in real interpreting and answer various questions.With the development of China's reform and opening-up policy,the advancement of “the Belt and Road” policy,and the implementation of “Telling Chinese stories,popularizing Chinese voice” which is advocated by President Xi,the People's Republic of China.Accordingly,the sponsor in Shanghai organized an activity named “tell the stories of those years” and invited the Shanghai elders to tell their own stories to the foreigners.In this way,the foreigners who like Chinese culture can understand China better.We should pay attention to the features of utterances by the elders.The interpreter should solve three difficulties: the utterance repetition,the utterance diverging and the loose utterances.Through observation and research,the interpreter owns the strategies of solving those problems,concerning literal translation,semantic cohesion and so on.It is expected that interpreters can solve these difficulties in the future.
