Fairness is a subjective judgment on the basis of objective facts, and then produces a fair and emotional experience.According to the theory of system justice, people tend to choose a balanced view to keep the existing social cognitive structure in the evaluation of social groups. The compensatory stereotype is one of the ways to maintain the justice of the system, that is to say,the dominant group and the disadvantaged group have their own characteristics. To the rich and poor groups, for example, that the poor groups of "beautiful" or rich groups "mean" can effectively maintain the individual's fair experience. But the previous research is rarely targeted at the college students;second, did not examine the different economic groups(i.e.,poor,rich)compensatory stereotypes on the sense of fairness;third, did not examine whether the causal relationship between the compensatory stereotypes on the sense of fairness;finally, they did not examine the brain mechanism of the influence of compensatory stereotypes on justice.Hence, this study is based on the existing problems of fairness research,to improve and carry out the corresponding research from the following aspects: Taking the college students as the research object;study the infection of compensatory stereotypes of poor and rich groups on the sense for the sense of fairness of college students.Study the influence of the compensatory stereotypes on the fairness of college students in the causal relationship between the poor groups;and the further study on the brain mechanism of the students' sense of fairness. In order to achieve the above objectives, this study carried out the following three empirical studies:Experiment 1,the impact of poor and rich groups of compensatory stereotypes on the sense of fairness of college students. The results show that, for college students, the compensatory stereotype of activating poor groups is higher than the sense of fairness that does not activate their compensatory stereotypes;but it is oppositewhen the group is wealthy. The materials selected in this experiment have universal applicability among college students of different sexes.Experiment 2,the impact of compensatory stereotypes on the fairness of college students with the causal relationship of the poor. The results of the study show that the compensatory stereotype that has no causal relationship with the poor group is higher than that of the causal compensatory stereotype.Experiment 3,the influence of poor and rich group on the neural mechanism of fairness. The results show that the poor group does not activate compensatory stereotype, which induces a larger N350 than the activation of compensatory stereotype, that is,the former has a larger cognitive conflict, and takes up more cognitive resources. On the basis of previous studies, this paper hopes to explore the physiological mechanism behind the sense of fairness in different social and economic status groups, and provide some inspiration for the future research on fairness.
