Interpretation Of Chinese Character Culture

This paper will explain culture of Chinese character by citing some Chinese characters as examples.These selected Chinese characters have three features.The first one is they can helpful to show the history of the growth of the Chinese nation in the most,in other words,they can reflect the production,life and spiritual outlook of our ancestors to the greatest extent.The second one is they can transfer the beauty of culture.The last one is the graphemic can express meaning.There are some pictures match these Chinese characters.Arrangement and combination of these Chinese characters are according to the graphemic or cultural ties.Analyzing the meaning and cultural connotation are according to its early form.Only in these ways can this paper transfer the underlying cultural charm of Chinese characters.According to the personal career planning,these research results applied to the practice of primary and secondary schools or the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which explains the reasons for choosing the topic,summarizes the achievements of predecessors,points out the innovation of this article,and explain the thinking of writing.The second part is Chinese characters about human being,Chinese characters to be expiaind are divided into four categories,they are namely concept people(such as people,male and female,,etc.),human organs(such as eyes,mouth,ears,tongue,hands and feet,etc.),human action,behavior and state of life class(rest,parallel,run,take,live and death,etc.),the identity of the person and the relationship between the class(Jun,Wang,father,mother,husband and wife,etc.).The third part is Chinese characters about natural world,Chinese characters to be expiaind are divided into six categories,they are natural phenomena(such as sky,land,sun,moon and thunder,etc.),plants(such as wood,fruit and melon,etc.),animal(such as cattle,sheep,horses,fish and bird,etc.),time and range class(such as spring,summer,autumn,winter,year,season,east and west,etc.),numbers(such as one,two and three,etc.),color(such as black and red,etc.).The fourth part is Chinese characters about social life,Chinese characters to be expiaind are divided into five categories,they are the basic necessities of life(such as clothing,fur,wine,porridge,hole,pavilion,trip and car,etc.),labor production(such as: fishing,mining and pestle,etc.),divination and sacrifice(such as:Zhan,Bu,witchcraft,Shi,and Ji,etc.),military action(such as: weapon,defense and Yue,etc.),spiritual level(such as morality,beauty andbenevolence,etc.).
