A Preliminary Study On The Mode Of Obtaining Funds From Private Art Museums In China

Private museum takes one important role in cultural industry in China.In resent years,private museum has made great achievement,however,beneath the surface of prosperity,the current situation of deficiencies and shortcomings of collection?analysis?curation?talent introduction and education has existed for years.the existing of these problems has connection with the fund to some extent.This thesis exploits commercial canvas as a tool to untangle the logic process of creation?transmission and acquirement of value for art gallery.Taking Wood Art Museum as an example,this thesis analyses and researches the possibility of the improvement of"self supply" for private museum in China.Fund is the fundamental issue for existing and development of art museum.Under the current policy environment,"fund support" from external should take time to realize,so it is significant to perfect and improve the internal "self supply" function.The author adopts methods of In-depth Interview?case analysis?literature review to fulfill this thesis.Taking museum science?competitive strategy as basic theories,and the commercial canvas as the tool,and Wood Art Museum as the object of study,the author tries to find the method of doing some helps in "advantages and disadvantages" analysis,and providing the successful experiences in improve profitability for private museum.
