This thesis is a research report in relation to the partnership between art museum and business, as an example take American art museum and Chinese private art museum.The Partnership between art museum and business originate in the United States,based on the conclusion of the co-operation model for the museum and business,this thesis aims to discuss deeply about the partnership between Chinese private art museum and business,takes Today Art museum as example,and also attempt to proof the importance and feasibility of the establishment of this partnership.By compiling and analyzing full and accurate investigation results and abundant cases,this thesis's conclusion are as follows:Based on the reference from the western museum and business partnership(especially U.S model),Chinese private art museum has already build a partnership which is suitable for the nature of itself,and it is the only way leading to the success of Chinese private art museum.The collaboration between museum and business centers mainly on corporate sponsorship,donation of trustees and the operation of the auxiliary department,it is a process from short-term project cooperation to long-term strategic relationship.For writing this thesis,the writer resorts to three methods:documentary method,in-depth interview method and case study method.Related to the American Art museum,the writer compiled and translated plentiful examples to support theories;For the Chinese Private art museum,the writer conducts several times interviews with Mr.Zhang Zikang,the director of the Today Art Museum,for valuable first-hand materials,and then comes to the conclusion by compiling and analyzing statistic data.
