Research On Discourse Markers "Jiushi" And "Jiushishuo" In TV Interview Programs

"Jiushi" "Jiushishuo" are frequency higher discourse markers which used in our daily oral Chinese communication.Most of past research incorporated "Jiushishuo" into the category of "Jiushi" discourse function.However,"Jiushi" "Jiushishuo" subtle differences still exist,such as the difference in frequency of use,function,influence factors.This has inspired me to studies further investigation,in order to better service for language communication and language teaching.Using description and interpretation,analysis and comparison with the combination of methods,we are mainly in the synchronic plane to study "Jiushi" "Jiushishuo" the distribution characteristics and function of discourse.On the basis of previous studies,we used the new corpus study of "Jiushi" "Jiushishuo" to compare the difference in distribution characteristics,discourse function and to explore its influencing factors.This article is intended to do analysis and comparison research with the collected corpus of "Jiushi" "Jiushishuo".We found that their oral position are more flexible.However,they are slightly different.Embodied in two aspects.One is in the words to the different proportion of beginning,middle,and end.The form of pull there is different."Jiushi" in spoken Chinese can appear alone.It also can be overlapped in the form,But "Jiushishuo" do not have overlapping forms."Jiushi" in Chinese spoken language can be accompanied by other tags composition.It can form a fixed collocation forms,such as "Jiushi fanzheng","Fanzheng jiushi".It also can reflect a kind of discourse expression habit,such as "Jiushi" and discourse markers "zhege","Jiushi" and discourse markers "nikan" of the application."Jiushishuo" also appear after explaining word.In terms of discourse function,both can represent explanation of righteousness,doing repair markers,with functions of pause filler.In the discourse function,the two can be said that,"Jiushishuo" has stronger commentary righteousness;do repair in repair of multiple markers,"Jiushi" used freqently;do filled pause function "Jiushi" than "Jiushishuo" words more compact.Discourse markers "Jiushi" can establish the topic.Discourse markers "Jiushishuo" doesn't have such function.Discourse markers "Jiushishuo" has the function of switching topics.But discourse markers "Jiushi" doesn't.In terms of influencing factors,the degree of formality,chat show topic difficulty,writing level,and gender will be on the discourse marker "Jiushi" "Jiushishuo" impact.
