Media consumption culture in the history of the Chinese traditional culture heritage and resulting from the fusion of the Western consumerist culture,experiences from the planned economy to the reform and opening up as well as today’s earth-shaking changes,changes in media consumption culture in the process,the role of the mass media and a force to be reckoned with.Consumerism on China’s infiltration and penetration of the mass media,and that a conclusion is not black and white.Message of the evening when people trapped in the press waves excited about as well as the diverse landscape of consumption society and enriched when media consumption culture changes fail to arouse the people’s concern.Today,if people leave mass media can manage their social life,leaving the mass media is causing the disorder of the pace of social life.Current consumption society mass media amplified the effect,become the main channels of the market economy,mass consumer behavior,consumption patterns,and even growing lead in consumer psychology,in the subtle changes of mass consumption media consumption while also generating new cultural concepts.The media industry itself has a strong vitality,how to promote the development of the media industry,how rational analysis of consumerist culture in the media need to think,today’s rapidly changing media consumerism really healthy development concerns in our country.Based on China’s mass media and consumerism as the object of study,first of all make a reasonable elaboration of consumer culture,and combed through the historical evolution of our consumer culture,pointed out that Chinese traditional culture and Western consumer culture fusion inevitability of our mass media,consumer culture conspires with the necessity of forming the China media consumption culture of complicity between them.Then China media consumption culture changes,rapid development of mass media technology,wrapped tightly in the complex of the community information network,and further strengthen the role of the mass media,even interfering with public life.Divided into four processes,from the material to the symbolic consumption,demand from consumer to consumer experience,from kitsch to meaning of consumption spending,from the regional consumption to fusion,to analyze media consumption culture changes how to imperceptibly influence and change Chinese consumer spending habits,consumption patterns,consumer attitudes,and so on.Finally,the problems of media consumption culture changes and the resulting difficulties,guard against and resist the negative impact of media consumption culture,while calling for rational regression of mass media,adhere to the orientation of advanced culture,uphold the principle of socialresponsibility and the sense of responsibility of the mass media play a positive and active role of the mass media.
