The great country of the Qing Dynasty was defeated the small Japanese during the Sino Japanese War,what's more China had to ceded territory and ask for peace to the Japan.With the crisis consciousness of Chinese people awakening generally,the Qing government advocated student to go to Japan to learn the advanced civilization to save the nation and achieve national prosperity.At that time,Japan was in the Meiji period,the whole nation was filled with the upsurge of reform.This kind of cultural atmosphere had an important enlightenment and influence on Chinese students.In addition,some outstanding people gathered in Japan and built a lot of revolutionary groups.Many students took an active part in revolutionary groups,so that a lot of foreign students to had a revolutionary ideas.Students wrote novels to inspire people's intelligence,founded newspapers to publicize revolution.These activities had a great effect on the early revolution.I will attempt to research and study on the life of studying abroad,novel creation and editing newspapers of these students in this paper.Then I'll analysis of the background of the Japan that they appearance,the creative motivation and creative themes of their novels,the western thought that their works conveyed,the enlightenment of the new culture movement and to provide information and reference for promoting foreign novelists.This paper is divided into four parts.The introduction part includes the purpose and significance of the research,the research status of revolutionary novelist of studying in Japan,research methods and innovation points,and some problems.The first chapter mainly introduces the background of revolutionary writers appear in the late Qing Dynasty,which includes the specific historical background,the cultural atmosphere of Japan,the political activities,novels writing,publishing activities that students participated in Japan.In the second chapter,I made an analysis of the theme of the novels,the theme of creation and the image of the characters in the novels of the revolutionary writers in Japan.The third chapter mainly discusses the theory of the writers of the revolutionary writers in Japan,the spread and acceptance of the western thoughts,and the influence on the new culture movement.
