In recent years, domestic researchers are increasingly concerned about the phenomenon of college students learning burnout.Learning burnout means that students are less interested in learning or lack of motivation but have to be so, they will feel tired, resulting in a physical and mental fatigue of the psychological state,and be negative to learning.By referring to the relevant literature , it has been demonstrated that there is a negative influence between high school students'self-control ability and learning burnout.Self-control refers to the process by which the individual changes the inherent or customary behavior and the way of thinking by suppressing or overcoming his own desires and needs. It is a process of acting and thinking instead of another.Most of the studies have focused on high school students,But learning burnout will also have a great negative impact on college students' learning.Therefore, this study put this as the theme, studying the relationship between self - control and learning burnout of college students,and intervening in self-control of college students,hoping to help students improve their learning burnout by interfering with college students' self-control ability.This study was conducted by questionnaire and experimental method.In the first part, the questionnaires were distributed to 649 college students in three universities in Shanghai, and the data were analyzed after recalling and finishing. The present situation and correlation of self-control and learning burnout of college students were studied.The scale used in the study was from Tan Shuhua's "Self-control Scale for College Students" and "College Students' Learning Burnout Scale" by Lian Rong and Yang Lixian.The questionnaire data were analyzed by SPSS18.0, This study explored the influence of gender,grade, professional, home location,learning situation and other demographic on self - control and learning burnout of college students and the correlation between self - control and learning burnout.The second study explored the intervention effect of self-control group counseling on college students' learning burnout through self-designed self-control group counseling program.The results are as follows:(1) college students self-control in the impulse to control the dimension and control the entertainment dimension performed better.(2) The detection rate of learning burnout in college students was 71.2%, and improper behavior was the most serious.(3) There are significant differences in gender, grade and specialty of college students' self-control,And was significantly correlated with learning status.(4) There are significant differences in learning burnout among grade and family, and there is significant correlation with learning status.(5) There was a significant negative correlation between self-control and its five dimensions and learning burrnout,resistant temptation dimension and focus on job dimensions have a higher correlation with learning burnout, and self-control was an important predictor of learning burnout.(6) The growth self-control group counseling can improve the self-control of students and reduce the degree of college students' learning burnout.
