Kunming City Drama Performance Ecological Research (2000-2016)

Drama dramaturgic ecology can be divided into external ecology and internal ecology.External ecology includes social economy,political policy,history and culture,geographical location,science and technology and other elements,while internal ecology contains performance team,mode of operation,performance venues,repertoire construction,etc.Audience and the market,theory and criticism are regarded as the crucial part of the drama performance ecology.In fact,the research towards the ecology of drama in Kunming city from 2000 to 2016 is a study of diverse elements in the ecology during the past 16 years and changes,exchanges and interactions between them.After 2000,under the background of the increasing maturity of the socialist market economy in China,the deepening of the cultural system innovation and the structural changes of the traditional cultural and artistic system,in the process of the gradual formation of the "frontier to frontiers" binary identity in Kunming city,the drama performance ecology here faced a series of challenges and opportunities in the respects of performance team,repertoire construction,market training and so on,but also carried out corresponding adjustments and attempts.By the end of 2016,Kunming city gradually formed a relatively perfect performance team,the basically sound operation mode,the continuously development repertoire construction,the gradually developed audience market,the correspondingly forward theory and criticism and the comprehensively ongoing exchange and interaction of the new drama performance ecology.This paper aims to find out problems and explore the ways of future development of drama performance in Kunming city through the comprehensive understanding of the internal and external ecology of Kunming drama performance,the generalization of prior experience and the search of rules.
