Folklore Study Of Family Sacrifices In Changzhi Area

Folklore,is the intergenerational pattern of life for people in daily life,is a collective habit in the language,behavior and psychology for folk groups.And people's life day by day in quietly changing,so the folklore is variability.In the context of changing social conditions,many popular culture,had been prosperous in one past time,has been faced with a variety of choices: change,or gradually dying.As a less common concern of folk lore,family sacrifice,for a long time,within the relatively closed development of a separate in the family space.Many people lack adequate knowledges about the family sacrifice,even there occur some prejudice caused by the confusion of family sacrifice and superstition.Obviously,this is unfair and unmatched for family sacrifice contains a wealth of folk culture.One of the purposes of this article is to change this awkward condition.The paper,takes Changzhi that the author is familiar with as the study region,to show the Changzhi's,family sacrifice of the folk appearance as far as possible,to explore its folk values,and to make reflections on the realistic development and inheritance of family sacrifice in Changzhi.Based on the time background of cultural renaissance,in the exordium,the chapter follows the path of “Culture-Folklore-Folk beliefFamily sacrifice” and makes the view refinement,focus on the research object of this paper: Family sacrifice.And then,through following thethinking idea of “background-performance-analysis-inheritance”,the paper that is divided into five chapters explores the family sacrifice in Changzhi area from surface to interior,from present to future.Background: Namely the first chapter,the time feature of folklore determines the existence and development of family sacrifice.Changzhi'family sacrifice which is closely related to its spatial background occurred in a specific natural environment's shaping and humanistic context' culturing.Performance: This part is embodied in the second chapter.It shows the process of family sacrifice by a case,to present its folk face.In order to achieve the complete presentation of the Changzhi's family sacrifice,it presents the realistic situation with three elements: object of sacrificing,worshiper,offerings.Analysis: It contains the third and the four chapters.There is two analyses of the relativity and differences between family sacrifice and public sacrifice,family sacrifice and festival,through the comparative study of method,to further explore the family nature of the folk sacrifice,at first.Secondly,grounded on the two directions of god's standard(contains ritual's standard),people's standard,the four chapter makes depth analysis for the family sacrifice of Changzhi,by borrowing anthropologist Malinowski's functional theory and psychologists Maslow's theory of human motivation.Inheritance: In the five chapter,the study object is defined as "the young generation".It explains the reasons of situation about the participation and attitude of "the young generation" to family sacrifice,and makes a bold speculation on the future heritage of family sacrifice.Finally,the author offers some discussions and reflection about the prospect of family sacrifice cites Xu Hualong's theory of extensive folk.
