Folklore Analysis Of Andersen's Early Fairy Tales

Hans Christion Andersen(1805-1875)is a famous Danish writer in the 19 th century and the founder of the world's fairy tale literature.Andersen entered China at the beginning of the 20 th century and spread in China for a long time and a wide range.Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales have a considerable number of takers in China for their outstanding plots and unique meanings.Hans Christian Andersen used a lot of traditional folk stories as the basis of his early creation of fairy tales,used the unique folk image of Europe,and integrated folk cultural information such as folk belief and religious belief into his stories.These contents play an important role in his process of constructing literary fairy tales.Due to the limitation of Chinese readers' understanding of multi-culture,the literary images in Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales are not fully understood and are prone to deviation.This paper tries to analyze Andersen's early fairy tales from the perspective of folklore,so as to help people understand the style,characteristics and profound cultural connotation of Andersen's early fairy tales more accurately and deeply,and promote the understanding and communication between cultures.This paper is divided into five chapters.The introduction part introduces the purpose and significance of the analysis of Hans Christian Andersen's early fairy tales from the perspective of folklore,carries out a literature review,and sorts out the current academic research results on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales and the inspiration for this research.The first chapter mainly introduces the general situation of Andersen's early fairy tale creation,including his creation ecology,creation stages,and the way to interpret Andersen's early fairy tales from the perspective of folklore.The second chapter is the analysis of folk image and the aesthetic and emotional expression of Andersen's early fairy tales.It discusses the selection of folk image in Andersen's early fairy tales from the three aspects of bird image,tree image and flower image to express Andersen's yearning for a better life.The third chapter is the interpretation of folk belief and the image of god,the consciousness of death and the pursuit of "love" in Hans Christian Andersen's early fairy tales.The fourth chapter is a comparison between the story types and the folk character and personality of Hans Christian Andersen's early fairy tales.This paper compares the use of the same type of Chinese classic stories and Hans Christian Andersen's early fairy tales in character design and story theme expression,and analyzes the reasons for the different styles from the social background.The fifth chapter is elaborated from the perspective of folklore early Hans Christian Andersen's meaning and value,on the one hand is to promote a better understanding of Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale,is under the construction of human destiny community on the other hand,the necessity and importance of china-eu fairy tale "seeking common ground while putting aside differences",try to contribute to the multicultural exchange and communication between.
