In modern Chinese, comparative sentence has various forms, which is an important grammatical category. This study focuses on two sentences "GEN N YIYANG X" (...is as N as X) and "A YOU BX" in equal comparison. Field work finds out that many errors exist in foreign students distinguishing sentences "GEN N YIYANG X" and "A YOU BX". This study adopts description and interpretation analysis method, comparative analysis, data analysis, and questionnaire. With syn chronic description of online corpus,"GEN N YIYANG X" and "A YOU BX" as research object, the paper analyzes syntax,semantic features, and pragmatic functions, then concludes similar and different features,eventually explains reasons. Besides, combing intermediary language corpus and using intermediary language theory and error analysis theory, the study analyzes all types of errors, then obtains difficult and important problems, making teachers forecast errors effectively, thus to improve teaching and acquisition efficiency.Based on the corpus, through comparative analysis, this paper further explores the semantic and pragmatic differences between "GEN N YIYANG X" and "A YOU BX".The study also discusses errors of students' acquisition in the analysis of the two sentences. This study can provide some new ideas for the teaching of comparative sentences, especially modern Chinese scholars and foreign language teaching aim to apply related theories into practice, and the problem is how to make students form similar sense like native speakers. According to corpus data analysis, the study combines grammar research results and practical teaching to conclude the acquisition order and difficulty level, thus to provide specific recommendations to the teaching of "GEN N YIYANG X" and "A YOU BX" and give new methods for teaching comparative sentences.Therefore, teachers are suggested to adopt "construction-chunk" method, cognitive teaching method and task-based approach to teach sentence patterns.
