German composer Felix Mendelssohn(1809-1847)is one of the most influential composers of the Romantic period;his works both have classical music harmony and romantic music lyrical and sincere.His original piano essay genre?Songs Wituout Words?is a short exquisite with elegant style,which is a rare treasure.In the present paper,we take Mendelssohn's?Songs Wituout Words?Op.62as an example,which is divided into two parts to discuss;the first part is to discuss Mendelssohn's life and piano creation.In the second part,the author will combine her own practice,from the touch method,decorative sound,the use of pedals and other aspects of the work to carry out performance analysis.
