A Contrastive Analysis Of Chinese Vocabulary Based On Chinese International Promotion

The mainland and Taiwan are the two main subjects to promote the Chinese language to the world,but there are still many differences between the Chinese language of China mainland and Taiwan.This paper selects two kinds of representative vocabulary lists for the test of Chinese.Which are the new HSK vocabulary list by the Confucius Institute Headquarters(Hanban)in China mainland and the new TOCFL vocabulary list by the Steering Committee for the Test of Proficiency-Huayu.From the idea of making the vocabulary list,the number and grade of vocabulary,specific vocabulary differences and so on to analysis the two vocabulary list.and finally find out some shortcomings which exist in the lists,and then try to make some suggestions for improvement.This paper is divided into five parts,the main contents include:The first chapter including the research of the idea of making the vocabulary list and the design of the vocabulary lists,finding that the new HSK in order to attract and encourage more students,new vocabulary list deletes a large vocabulary than the old version,and the common collocationwill be used in combination with the included collocation.The new TOCFL vocabulary list make the situation and the actual output of the vocabulary of the students as an important consideration,not only including words,but also morpheme.Through the comparison of the number and arrangement of the two types of vocabulary,it is found that the number of the vocabulary of the new HSK vocabulary list is less than that of the new TOCFL vocabulary list,and the difficulty is lower than that of the new TOCFL vocabulary list.In addition,the new TOCFL vocabulary list in the processing of POS tagging,same meaningbut different pronunciation words,pronunciation and meaning of the same and different words written in more detailed and specific.The second chapter analyzes the different vocabulary of new HSK vocabulary list and new TOCFL vocabulary list.According to the characteristics of vocabulary,different vocabulary will be divided into four categories,and summed up seven reasons,found that the differences between two vocabulary lists is influenced by many human factors.The differences between the two vocabulary lists will bring confusion and confusion to the learners.In the third chapter,the author makes an analysis of the specific vocabulary of the new HSK vocabulary lists and the new TOCFL vocabulary list,and finds that the repetition rate of the nouns in the following two vocabulary lists is low.In addition to the differences between the two sides of vocabulary itself,but also because the new TOCFL vocabulary list including more nouns,through statistical analysis found that the new TOCFL vocabulary list including more vocabulary in some special aspects of lexical category,including politics,economy,religion,and other scientific names.In addition,by comparing the two kinds of vocabulary lists,found that there are many differences in tone words,free phrases and Idioms Related words.On the one hand,the reason is the different idea of making the vocabulary list,on the other hand,it is affected by the differences of social life.In the fourth chapter,the author gives an example and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the new HSK vocabulary lists and the new TOCFL vocabulary list,including the adverse effects of the different vocabulary lists on the international promotion of Chinese language.According to the two list of differences bring forward some suggestions mainly,the China mainland and Taiwan should strengthen communication and exchanges,to seek common ground,minimize differences in vocabulary,through each other and complementary advantages to develop a unified and standardized Chinese vocabulary list.
