The 50 s and 60 s of the 20 th century,is Yang Zhiguang's key stage of the maturity of his artistic style.During this period,he became an influential Chinese painter from an ordinary student of Central Academy of fine arts.People are especially familiar with the new China figure painting paradigm he created as the impact so far.This article is concerned with the initial phase of the republic and the important factors contribute to the formation of Yang's artistic conception and art language.This article sets out the following questions: First,through the review of Yang Zhiguang's early learning experience(late 1940 s to early 50s),to study the internal conditions and external mechanism that made Yang Zhiguang choose ink painting as a lifelong career as well as the personal artistic features and creative ideas developed under such a mechanism.Secondly,with Yang's creation "the first time in my life",which was created in 1954,discusses its background,processes,characters and the mode of mass communication.And,the formation mechanism of artistic style is discussed in many directions.Third,in the case of "the snow night,"(1958),"MAO Zedong's lecture in the Peasant Movement Institute"(1959),"Sunset"(1962),in the discussion of the mid50 s to early 60 s,Yang Zhiguang how to respond to political propaganda for art tool strength specification in the painting subject,painting language,and how to follow the above age basic literary and art creation principle,showing the artist's personal style belongs to the sense of innovation.
