Because they have different colors and symbols of meaning and expression,and produced a special kind of psychological suggestion effect,this effect can change the consumers' mind,make it more acceptable to communicate information,to produce purchase behavior.Therefore in the commercial design has important commercial prospects and the research value,is an important research related practitioners and learners and learning content.In the design of the correct use of the colour and symbols to improve design propaganda effect,it is very meaningful.Developing very fast in modern society,people gradually to spiritual culture and visual aesthetic has a higher demand.Therefore,prompted the development of visual art,commercial design has become a brand or promote their products or enterprise spirit of the most direct and efficient way of information dissemination.Color and graphics,text is indispensable in the design of the three elements,and as symbols,symbols not only includes graphic symbol,words sometimes will be treated as a symbol,therefore,contains more more meaningful symbols.Colors and symbols in the design is like people's muscles and blood,is the important reason for design expressive and impressive,different designs have different requirements on colors and symbols.This article through to the meaning and characteristics of color and symbol,analysis and color and symbol in logo design,packaging design,poster design,book design research,the use of four kinds of colors and symbols are analyzed in use in the design of commercial effect.And on this basis,the logo and poster,packaging design,books,etc.As long as we carefully study the audience psychology in the design,grasp the characteristics of good color and symbol,clever and properly use a variety of methods and techniques in the design,commercial design will certainly make a sound effect of get twice the result with half the effort.
