A Study On The Genealogy Of Wood Type In Zhejiang Province In The Late Qing Dynasty And The Republic Of China

Movable-type printing was selected into the intangible cultural heritage list by the UNESCO in 2010,which has been deeply concerned by academic circles.The current research in this field often starts from the study on the movable type printing ontology,and folk genealogy is one important reason that makes movable type printing continues.This paper analyzes the prosperity,declining,disappearing and recovery period of Zhejiang movable type printing genealogy from the perspective of Zhejiang regional economic,technician status,clan ethics,ethnic migration and business during the period from the late Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China.Also,this paper analyzes the layout,choreography,fonts,illustrations,engraving process and brushing process of Zhejiang movable type printing genealogy from the view of design,clarifies the development process and artistic features.Finally,this paper discusses how to protect movable type printing and folk genealogy based on the inheritance,genealogy cultural ecology chain,economic value orientation.The author put forward that the way to protect them is the return of movable type printing genealogy marketing and the extension of movable type printing application.
