A Comparative Study Between Kessler And Chopin Etude

Piano Etudes,which is the basis of piano teaching activities,is originally created for solution the technology of piano performance.However,in the 300 years of the development of the piano art history,each period composers influenced by different aesthetic thought and aesthetic taste,Piano Etude has developed in content and skills,in the 19 th appeared Concert Etudes,it shows completely different characteristics.the most representative and well?known Concert Etudes were created by Chopin and Liszt.The study found that Chopin and Kessler has a continuity in the etude creation,it has been gradually showing characteristics of the Romantic period in Kessler's Etudes creation,it has been able to show some of the music content,and Chopin inheritance and development it in his conposition,thus creating Concert Etude this new form of etude.In this paper,throught the comparative study on the etudes of Kessler and Chopin,analysis the relation and distinction in music content and performing techniques of two composers' s etude,Let's deepen the uederstanding of both etude,provide a reference for both teaching and playing etudes;at the same time through a comparative study of the two piano etude let us have a more detailed understanding of the development process of the Romantic period etude,to further explore the etude's development track and significance as an independent musical genre.
