As one of the three major religions around the world,Buddhism was originated from India and has exerted a long-lasting influence over many countries and areas.It mainly features a perspective of No-Self,which is not only its core teaching and its most distinctive thought,but also condensed expression of its systematic reflection about life.As the most theoretical characteristics of Buddhism,No-Self developed its connotation and denotation in early Buddhism.And it become a inspection standard of Buddhism.This article will hold a brief review to No-Self in the early Buddhism.This perspective mainly encompasses person locks true essence and essential universal truths contain no ego-self.The Buddha get this feature perspective though his own practice and overseeing the prevailing social trends.The aims of No-Self is let people get liberation,especially from suffering,birth,old age and death,etc.Because all of them are not the true essence.At the time of Buddha,No-Self is not only a most necessary debitterizing methods,but also a practice and moral.The Buddha pay more attention to the inner moral and the method to deliverance.Nikaya Buddhism has it unique characteristics about No-Self.Firstly they analysis the person true essence in details.This is a process making the Self concrete less and the abstraction become more and more.Secondly,the existence of ghost also is a big issue.Thirdly,the essential universal truths contain no ego-self be a logical question of No-self.What is even more important is that the No-Self system made people get more attention in pursuit and hold the Arhats.In the other side,this made people ignore the most mercy practice of buddha.This article is sum up the development of No-Self at the early Buddhism.This paper also has a great significance in finding the value of live.
