A Study Of The Mentality Of The Writers Of Sao Literature In The Western Han Dynasty

Wang Guowei has once said," one dynasty has its own literature." As the represent of Han dynasty’s four hundred years literature,Han Fu was charged with two functions which were description and expressing aspiration.Prose fu played a important role in the history of Han dynasty and it put the feature of description to the extreme.However,it couldn’t be ignored that Prose fu paid little attention to expressing emotion.Meantime,the sao ti fu was well-know for its’ abundant feelings.As the headstream of Chinese classic literature,the book of songs and the songs of Chu established the lyric feature of pre-Qin literature.Furthermore,after the literary consciousness arose in the Wei and Jin dynasties,the lyricism of Chinese classic literature had a comprehensive development from theory to practice.With the background of flourishing age in western Han,prose fu emerged as the times required and occupied a large proportion in the number of western Han dynasty literature works.So,the researchers were fond of the study of prose fu naturally.Because of that,sao ti literature was cast into the shade by comparison.But it was important that sao ti literature was used to reveal the seamy side of ruling class and gave expression to inner truth of authors.It was different with the prose fu’s function of acclaiming monarch’s virtues,publicizing the prestige and performing extravagant things.Sao ti literature could expose the whole truth of society which was enveloped by the aureole of flourishing age.All in all,it was great significant to study sao ti literature in western Han dynasty.This thesis chose the sao ti literators’ creative psychology in western han dynasty as study subject.The means of combining text analysis with historical facts were adopted in the research process.What’s more,I also used the relevant knowledge of psychology,study of art and literature,sociology,etc,to prove my viewpoints.And the purpose of the thesis was that it could restore the original characteristics of sao ti literators’ creative psychology in western han dynasty on the basis of a full comprehending to the works and historical background.This article contains four parts.The opening chapter gives a introduction of sao ti literature.The first sector is about the feature and conception of sao ti literature.The second sector explains the contents of creative psychology from the view of psychology.Then by combing the specific circumstance of sao ti literators’ creations,there is an analysis of factors which is affecting the sao ti literators’ creative psychology.The second chapter is about the sorting the sao ti literators’ creative psychology.This chapter gives a comprehensive analyze and sorting of the creative psychology which is based on analyzes of the specific works.After that,the analyses of creative psychology’s causes would have convincing exemplifications.The third chapter is about the causes of creative psychology’s formation.This chapter is analyzing the specific works of sao ti literature at the macroscopic level.The first sector begins with missing Qu Yuan,then talks about the genesis of sao ti literators’creative psychology in the western Han dynasty.The second sector pays a great attention to analyzing what causes the formation of grievous voice in prosperous times.The third sector analyses the trait which the sao ti literators use the Taoist ideology to dispel their depressions.So then,there is a process of creative psychology’s formation.The fourth chapter is talking about the influence of sao ti literators’ creative psychology from two aspects,which are the literary theory and the motif of literature.Due to the western han dynasty sao ti literature’s special function of express the emotions and aspirations,it had many important influences on the literary consciousness.Then it could give a great help for the structure of Chinese traditional literary theory system.Furthermore,because of the typicalness of sao ti literators’creative psychology in western Han dynasty,it caused significant effects to the later literary creations on the theme of literature.
