A Study On The Articles Of The Western Zhou Dynasty

This paper focus on the articles having some stylistic meanings and existing in the form of sections and chapters except poems beside the Western Zhou Dynasty about 300 years for research,and gives much more systematic investigation.The text covers the Unearthed Literature(inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells and inscriptions on bronzes of the Western Zhou Dynasty)and Ancient Literature(hexagram judgment and line judgment of Zhouyi,the Western Zhou part of Jinwen shangshu zhoushu,Yizhoushu and guoyu zhouyushang).This paper includes seven chapters,the main contents are as follows:The Introduction is the first.It puts the emphasis on the origin and importance of this subject and defines the document.It looks back of the research situation about the Articles of the Western Zhou Dynasty and study method,and innovative points of this paper.Chapter One retrospected the literature origin about the Articles of the Western Zhou Dynasty.The first states the culture background of rational awakening from the Shang Dynasty to the Western Zhou Dynasty and the influence to the Articles of the Western Zhou Dynasty.The other analyzes the relationship between Pre-Western Zhou Dynasty and the Articles of the Western Zhou Dynasty.One is the influence of articles from the Shang Dynasty to the Western Zhou Dynasty;the other is the ancient myth to symbolic thinking of the Articles of the Western Zhou Dynasty and the primitive songs to poetic character of the Articles of the Western Zhou Dynasty.Chapter Two explores the literature ideas about the Articles of the Western Zhou Dynasty.It includes the theory of literature writer: modification and genuineness,introspection;the theory of literary creation: watching for images,setting up image helps out,observing humanity;the theory of literary works: emphasis on the application of language,the language of the smooth,to know the language about language,the complex and simpleness is proper,materials selection about art of composition,naturally,feminine beauty,masculine beauty about style;the theory of literary function: social utility and aesthetic entertainment.Chapter Three teases the style about the Articles of the Western Zhou Dynasty.It inducted the stylistic origin and basic system of Gao,Ming,Song,Yue from angle of view of stylistics and the stylistic feature of the early?middle and late period of Western Zhou Dynasty.Chapter Four discusses the narrative about the Articles of the Western Zhou Dynasty.It relies mainly on linear narrative to draw the outline of the Western Zhou Dynasty in narrative sequence and the space narrative be full of rites and music.It pursues aesthetic by binary opposition on narrative structure.The most wonderful recordation is war narrative.This paper also analyzes the thought and the description of war by specific articles.Chapter Five investigates the character images about the Articles of the Western Zhou Dynasty.This paper analyzes the male and the female images of a group,and also summarizes the art gimmick on the image-shaping.The Last is the conclusion.It cleared up the research content and the main arguments of the whole thesis,meanwhile,it put forward the disadvantages and the questions that need to be further studies in the future.Compared with the past research on the Articles of the Western Zhou Dynasty,this paper aims to make innovations in the following fields:The first: This pater pointed out the new definition of the Articles of the Western Zhou Dynasty and explored the reasons why it is full of rational and historical consciousness.The second: At the time,combined with the kings of the the Western Zhou Dynasty time,this paper focus on the literary value of “Literature in the literature” except the Unearthed Literature and Ancient Literature for researct.The third: This paper affirms the the literature status of the Articles of the Western Zhou Dynasty and has also some certain theory innovation value except enriches the course of history of Pre-qin articles by a much more systematic investigation on the literature origin,the literature ideas,the style,the narrative and the character images of the Articles of the Western Zhou Dynasty.
