| Japan is a country with frequent natural disasters.In response to this situation,the Japanese media has formed a relatively perfect disastrous news reporting mechanism.This paper based on the rhetoric theories,with five major newspapers in Japan and the east Japan earthquake,Hiroshima,mudslides and kumamoto earthquake related news reports as the corpus,from the aspects of context,structure,rhetoric strategy for further discussion.Disasters,Japanese media reported in addition to the events background,social environment,the influence of the rhetoric body,but also by the urgency of the time,the complexity of information,the topic of the influence of the sensitivity of the three contextual characteristics,has a special linguistic features.The lexical features,syntactic forms,rhetorical methods,discourse cohesion and rhetorical strategies are also different in different disaster reports.Disasters from Japanese media report reflects the language features and rhetorical strategies can be seen that the Japanese people in the face of natural disasters,dare to positive response,and in consideration of the humanities concern for the disaster area of the lessons learned in order to alert the world at the same time.China is a country with vast territory and complex topography and frequent natural disasters.However,due to the differences in economic and political systems and social and cultural environments,there are still some deficiencies in China’s system of training on risk aversion and disaster prevention awareness and reporting.Comparing with the mature reporting mechanism of disaster news in Japanese media,we can find that it is worth learning from China. |
