This article is about the research of the band of the Qing dynasty court music,focusing on the most recent dynasty-the Qing dynasty.By the study of the Qing dynasty curt band,the history of Chinese traditional music can be further perfected,also complied with the revival of Chinese traditional culture.The first chapter is the introduction section.First of all,the cause and meaning of the study are introduced.The Qing dynasty is the most recent dynasty,also its historical is tightly contacted with modern history.And,the Qing dynasty left a large number of music material and literature.What's more,the curt music is an important part of ancient Chinese music,the band of court is indispensable part of the Qing dynasty court band.Therefore,the study contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of Chinese ancient music culture.Then,it is about the current research status of statement.The research achievements of the Qing dynasty curt band are rare,so the research of the Qing dynasty palace music are reviewed.Finally,statement of the thesis research objectives,research contents,research methods and innovation point are made.In the second chapter according to the different function of the band,the band of the Qing dynasty palace music can be divided into the Zhongheshaoyue,Dandiandayue,Qingyue,Yanyanyue,Lubuyue.The origin and development of each band are different.Also,the function,position of each band is not same.By collecting historical data,this chapter has carried on the simple discussion and explanation to these questions,and totally introduced the background and significance of existence of each band.The third chapter is the research on the organization of these five types of band.The band in the previous chapter is only classified from the function,but in this chapter music band are divided in detailed division,for example,Zhongheshaoyue is used for sacrifice,but there are many kinds of sacrifices,matching with different band,and these bands are affiliated with the Zhongheshaoyue.As a result,the five types of band contains 26 kinds of large or small music band.In this chapter,the form and function of 26 kinds of band are introduced,with which a table has been given to understand.The fourth chapter focus on the classification of instruments of the band,which are also further research of the third chapter.Based on characteristics of these instruments,all the instruments in the Qing dynasty palace band can be divided into:rhythm instruments,percussion instruments,wind instruments,string instruments.Musical instruments are introduced in appearance,pronunciation principle and playing method,and pictures are given to understand.Secondly,a table was given in which the instrument distribution of each band can be clearly seen.Finally,with all the research of instrument category,instrument timbre features,distribution and function of these instruments,these five type of band are summarized and analyzed.On the basis of last four chapters,chapter five is about inheritance and development of the Qing dynasty palace band.Through the research of the Qing dynasty palace band,it can be clearly seen that the Qing dynasty palace band inherited from the Zhou dynasty music system.Firstly,the Zhou dynasty Yayue band and the Qing dynasty Yayue band share same characteristics of Bayin;Secondly,the Zhou Dynasty banquet music "Siyigewu" and the Qing Dynasty banquet music "Siyigewu",although the word is different,the embodiment of the music form and political means is the same.Thirdly,most of the court music in the Qing dynasty continued the rites of the Ming dynasty,although it seems like the continue of former music system,but the Ming Dynasty music system is also fundamentally follow the Zhou Dynasty.Therefore,following the former dynasty music system,which is not contrary to the Zhou Dynasty music system.The development of the court band in the fifth chapter is elaborated from two aspects.On the one hand,it was the development of the Qing Dynasty.Kangxi revised the "Lvlvzhengyi",which not only provides a new set of legal methods,but also made a detailed provision for each band,most of the band in this article compiled the information are referred to this book.During the Qing Dynasty,the court bands are much more comparing with the former.This benefited from the policy of the"Siyigewu".On the other hand,the Qing court band in the present are also developed.Ancient Yayue as early as 1996 began to get people's attention.Vigorously praising the Zhou Dynasty's music,therefore,the Qing court band also received the attention of modern scholars.The most prominent is the Temple of Heaven Amater Orchestra,since its inception in 2009,the Divine Music Department in accordance with the Ming and Qing Dynasties palace for the sacrifice of the Shaolin band,set up the orchestra,using same musical instruments with the ancient,which has practical significance of understanding of the Qing Dynasty court music.The summary of the article combs the context of the article,summarizes the thrust of the article,and stated the significance of the Qing court band in today's development.
