O'Connor's Research On Ecological Socialism

Since the 1990 s,the ecological environment has become more and more important in the context of global ecological environment deterioration and social problems,which have become more and more important,and become the research hot spots of ecological Marx and ecological philosophy.In this paper,the ecological thought of James O'Connor,the leading character of the contemporary North American Ecological Marx doctrine,is selected as the research perspective,starting with the investigation of the theory of O'Connor's ecological socialism,exploring its theoretical connotation and characteristics,analyzing the theoretical significance and practical value,and analyzing the theoretical defects and errors of the ecological socialist ideology.Based on the background of the global ecological crisis,O'Connor's ecological theory has a certain scientific and foreseeable nature,which opens a new horizon for the further study of the ecological Marx ideology,and provides new inspiration for the solution of the environmental problems in reality,and provides important theoretical and practical significance to the construction of ecological civilization in China.
