The paper takes the photography media under the digital technology as thebreakthrough point to study the mass consumer behavior of the photographic equipment.Analyzing the consumption mode of popular photography as the medium of imagetransmission through the theory of demand hierarchy,the consumption demand alsochanges under the background of digital technology and Internet.Comparing with thedevelopment trend of consumer market of photographic equipment,it is found that theperformance of digital camera market has not kept the same trend as that of cameratechnology.The traditional digital camera is facing the challenge of new photographicequipment represented by smart camera phone.The evaluation system based on imagingquality can not explain the phenomenon of photography consumer market,and then putforward the decision analysis model of photography equipment consumption,includingthe two sets of key factors such as demand satisfaction and consumption cost,summed upthe impact of digital technology on photography equipment consumption withtechnology-oriented and demand-oriented trend.
