A Study on the Artistic Style of Shen Huang's Figure Paintings

Shen Huang is one of the "Eight Eccentric Artists in Yangzhou".He was good at figure paintings,bird-and-flower paintings,landscape paintings.He also enjoyed a good reputation of "Master of Poetry Writing and Painting".In ancient Chinese painting history he played an important role.Shen Huang carried forward the characteristics of "Eight Eccentric Artists in Yangzhou",which was good at reform,and integrated grass writing and calligraphic style into painting with,forming a unique style of painting,which produced a profound influence on later generations.In this paper his figure paintings were started with.This paper will be divided into three chapters.In the first chapter,the background and life of Shen Huang's were introduced,and the artistic environment and causes of "Eight Eccentric Artists in Yangzhou" were mainly discussed.In the second chapter,several representative examples are used to analyze Huang Shen's artistic style of figure painting at the different stages.In the third chapter,the uniqueness and aesthetic characteristics of Huang's figure paintings,the thought between his poems and figure painting and his historical status were analyzed.
